[insert quirky creative quote here]
I'm a fourth-year student at the University of Georgia who's looking for a career in documentary filmmaking. Along with my pursuit of a B.A. in Entertainment and Media Studies, I've completed a minor in International Affairs and am nearing completion of a certificate in
Environmental Ethics.
Environmental Ethics.
I'm most happy when I can operate a camera, both still and video, and am currently focusing on being a
Director of Photography or documentary photographer. My current (paid) jobs are as a photo/video intern with the Athens-Clarke County Communications Department and as a photo/video-er with UGA Recreational Sports Marketing.

Project-wise I've been DP multiple student projects, worked on set in roles like AD and AC, directed a few of my own shorts, and shot roughly 15 billion hours of footage that I probably can't ever work into something I can release. I also served on an AmeriCorps Disaster Response Team (A-DRT) deployment to provide typhoon damage relief in Guam, USA (here are some photos from that).
In a career I'm hoping to be able to combine different interests of mine into fulfilling and intriguing documentary work, whether this work be photo- or video-based. This means telling stories about social problems like inequality and political extremism/polarization, or environmental issues like overtourism and ecological destruction, or really anything with an anthropological or ethnographic spin on it.
